HISTORY

Wester Christian University was birthed out of a visionary mandate to serve the body of Christ through an educational partnership with the local church. With more than 20 years of service, this mandate continues to be our clarion call. Through the merger of several small Bible schools and institutes dating back as far as 1999, we are today a global institution with students representing dozens of countries. In 2015, Wester moved from a simple distance education school offering certificate programs into a new phase, upgrading the standards, policies, and degrees. 

During this new phase, Wester took on a decided international scope partnering with ministry leaders all over the world. Throughout its history, Wester has maintained a passion for equipping the Body of Christ, making an impact in over 25 countries. In Fevereiro of 2017, Wester Christian University restructured to a University model, thereby offering our students a richer variety of programs and better-qualified faculty.
